Friends of Kartchner Caverns State Park (FKCSP) was founded in 1999 to coincide with the opening of the Park. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with an Executive Director and a Board of Directors.
The vision of FKCSP is to be the model to follow in the active support of cave research, preservation, appreciation, and education in the preservation of a living cave.
Activities of FKCSP:
- Raise fund through grants, events, individual donations, and partnerships with foundations and corporate donors.
- Support volunteer and docent training.
- Supply volunteer and docent uniforms and equipment.
- Offer educational and outreach programs.
- Uphold critical scientific research that will keep the caverns pristine and healthy for future generations.
